How to Select the Right Exhaust Tip for Your Vehicle

If you're in the market for new exhaust tips, you've come to the right place! Exhaust Parts Pro has curated a collection of Universal and Direct Fit Tips from all of the top manufacturers. 

If you're looking for Universal Tips for your ride, we've made it much easier to shop on Exhaust Parts Pro by using our Tip Configurator. Our configurator allows you to narrow down your selection by picking from options including Brand, Finish/Color, Length, Outlet, Inlet and/or Price. Below is a breakdown of each of your options. 

First you have the option to choose the Brand or Manufacturer that you want for your exhaust tip. This is not a required field, so feel free to skip this one if you do not have a preference. 

Next, you have the option of choosing which finish or color your want your tip. We have Exhaust Tips available in Black, Black Chrome, Burnt End, Carbon Fiber or Polished Stainless Steel. This allows you multiple options to choose the tip that best compliments your vehicle!

For Length, we offer tips from 4" all the way to 20" long. This gives you a variety of options to decide how far you want the tip to stick out from your tailpipe. 

Exhaust Parts Pro offers tips with an Outlet as small as 1.5" and as large as 8", with hundreds of options in between. Your Outlet should always be at least the same size as your Inlet, usually larger. Other than that requirement, Outlet size is your personal preference. 

Inlet is your most important choice and depends on the diameter of your current exhaust. We have Inlets available from 1.5" up to 5". It's important to know that the inlet size is the size of the pipe it is fitting over. For example, if your exhaust measures 2.5", you need a 2.5" Inlet Tip. 

To measure the diameter of an exhaust pipe, you can use a string or flexible tape to wrap around the pipe and mark the length. Then, divide that measurement by pi (3.1415) to calculate the diameter. You can also measure the distance from one edge of the circle to the other, passing through the center point.
